It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernardina “Dini” Terwoord, of Walkerton, who passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018.
Loving mother of Erwin (Jennifer) of Port Credit, Yvonne (Joe) Batte of Walkerton and Peter (Jennifer) of Salmo BC. Cherished Oma of Jason (Kristin) Batte, Tyler (Kyla) Batte, Hendrik, Jocelyn and Willem Terwoord and great Oma of Ava, Anderson, Brynlee, Blake and Knox. Dini is lovingly remembered by her sisters and brothers Annie Hooch-Antink, Bill Zieverink both of BC, Truus Overkamp and Bennie (Maria) Zieverink all of Holland as well as by her sister-in-law Lina Terwoord of Walkerton and all the Terwoord family in Holland.
Dini was predeceased by her husband John; four sisters and three brothers.
Dini's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge St. S). Parish prayers at 3:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton (221 Victoria St). Rev. Andrew Quarshie officiating.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
