Obituary for Mervyn Kupferschmidt

Mervyn Joseph Kupferschmidt, of Mildmay, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the age of 82.

Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee Scheuerman) for 60 years.
Dear father of Allan, Dave (Cathy), Linda Clarke (Darrell), Paul “Chip” (Judy) and Brent (Marlene). Proud Papa of Kati (Shane), Ben (Alessia), Cody, Josh (Megan) Zach, Alli (William), Maddy (Mitch), Kenzie (Spencer), Adam (Danielle), Nicole (Adam), Olivia, Katrina (Derek) and Tori (Sam) and great-grandfather of Austin, Cooper, Stella, Talen, Thea, Kasen, Isabel, Sophie, Jack, Ellie, Isla and Emery. Fondly remembered by his sister Verna Keip.

Mervyn was predeceased by his sister and brothers-in-law, Erma (Ron) Siegfried and Jack Keip and his parents Joseph and Julia (nee Wagner) Kupferschmidt.

He was a retired member of the Mildmay Carrick Fire Department as well as a long-time mechanic for Kunkel Bus Lines.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Mildmay. Please register with the RSVP option at www.cameronfuneralhomes.com.
