Obituary for Albert Christinus Zwart
Albert Christinus Zwart of Walkerton passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, at age 81.
Beloved husband of Truus, father of Johannes (Gina Goldie) of Revelstoke, B.C., Margriet (Simon Lasalle) of Costa Rica, and Liesbeth (Derek) Turiak of Oakville. Proud Opa of Rio, Zaia, Jackson, and Trista. He will be missed by his siblings Willem (Ina), Sjoerd, Quint, Lysbeth, all of The Netherlands, Geert Jaap of Sweden, Jilling of New Zealand, sister-in-law Hilly (Albert), brothers-in-law Geert (Anneke) and Jan Willem (Ineke), all of The Netherlands, and many nieces and nephews.
Albert is predeceased by his brother Joop, and parents Johannes and Elisabeth (nee vanWingerden) Zwart.
Friends and relatives are invited for casual visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at St. Paul’s United Church, Walkerton. Rev. Cathy Paul officiating. A livestream of the service will be available through Albert's memorial page.
