Betty Anne Keir passed away, surrounded by family, at the Southampton Hospital on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in her 81st year. "Mom" to Margaret (Tom Lang) of Chepstow, Tom of Elmwood, Teresa (Joe D'Angelo) of Sault Ste. Marie, Joe of Southampton, Cathy (Dan Spitzig) of Manotick, Laura (Sean MacDonald) of Baden, and mother-in-law to Mary Keir of New Brunswick. Betty was the proud grandmother of Marcia (Ritch) Folmer, Tim (Cheryl) Lang, Michelle (Kyle) Underwood, Mike Keir, Peter Keir, Jessica and Alana D'Angelo, Stefanie (Shawn Renton) Spitzig, Cheryl Spitzig, Adam (Kissandra) Spitzig, Mitchell, Jason, and Ian Kalbfleisch, and "GG" of 6.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Paul, son Robert, sister Jean Morin, brothers Lloyd, Chuck, and Garry Goss, and her parents Samuel and Winnifred Goss.
Friends and relatives are invited for casual visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Mary Immaculate Church, Chepstow. Fr. Luc Payette officiating.
Cremation has taken place and internment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home (519-881-1273) Donations and condolences may also be left at www.cameronfuneralhomes.com
