Obituary for Bill Poechman
William "Bill" Clare Poechman, of Walkerton passed away on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton at age 78.
Loving father of Cheryl (Kevin) Kieffer of Mount Forest, Marcia (Carl) McCaskell of Ancaster and Trevor (Lisa) of Bowmanville. Cherished grandfather of Jake, Evan, Alex, Dan, Bethany, Claire, Devin, Isaac, Jocelyn, Josh and Jenna. Dear brother of Bob (Pat) of Owen Sound, Laurie O’Toole of Kitchener, Phyllis Poechman of Grimsby, Clare (Jackie) of Walkerton, Rosemary (Robert) Gardner of Toronto and Audrey (Ron) Moroso of Puslinch and brother-in-law of Rosemary Poechman of Kitchener, Ute Poechman of Hanover and Jim Harrison of Wasaga Beach. He will be missed by his special friend Barb Vyhnal of Walkerton as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his wife Maxine (nee Mullen); sisters Paula Shock and Joanne Harrison; brothers Bern Poechman and Ron Poechman; brother-in-law Pat O’Toole and parents Clarence and Marie (nee Zettler) Poechman.
Bill's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, May 24th, 2019 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge St. S), Parish Prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. followed by Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton (221 Victoria Street). Rev. Les Szczygiel officiating.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
