Christine “Teeny” Marie Garland (nee Thompson), of Pinkerton, passed away at home on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Garland. Loving mother of Jim of Pinkerton, Mary (Norm Matsumoto) of Brantford, Marlene (Madis) Kreem of Toronto, Richard (Lisa) of Burlington and Ron (Koleen) of Ripley. Grandmother of Chris, Scott, Sam, Kate and Erik and great-grandmother of Alexandra, Matthew, Gavin and Adalyn. Dear sister of Shirley (Robert) Bourgeois of Walkerton and sister-in-law of Eleanor Thompson of Kincardine, Shirley Thompson of Glammis, Elsie Garland of Saskatchewan and Shirley Garland and of Walkerton.
Teeny was predeceased by her son-in-law Brian Carlson; sisters Belva (Robert) Agar, Eileen (Andrew) Morris; brothers Stewart (Vina) Thompson, Howard Thompson, Ron Thompson and Lloyd Thompson and brothers-in-law Edgar Garland and Don Garland.
Family and friends are invited to a casual visitation on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge Street South).
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. Ann Maycock officiating. All are invited to a reception at the Chepstow Lion’s Park, Chepstow (445 Chepstow Road) following the service.
