Darlene Elsie Schefter, age 81 of Walkerton, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Harold (Jim) Schefter. Devoted mother of Donna Berberich of Kitchener, Daniel (Marlene) of Mildmay, Janet of Barrie, Jim (Theresa) of Glencairn, Carol (Mark) Holden of Barrie, and Marlene (Jim) Dennie of Nova Scotia. Cherished "Nanny" of Michael, Laurie (Justin) Maggie, Junior (Andrea), Kelsey (Brian), Destiny (Connor), Isaac, Olivia, Oliver, David (Megan), Allison (Emil), Matthew (Kristie), Maddie (Micael), Stephen, Stephanie (Jeff) and great nanny of Kolby, Ava, Brooke, Hailey, Theo, and Norah. Darlene will be missed by her brother John (Donna) Swartz of Sutton and sister-in-law Ruth Swartz of Timmins.

Predeceased by sister Merle Swartz, brother Byron Swartz, and parents Clifford and Elsie Swartz.

Friends and relatives were invited for visitation from 11:00 a.m until time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. Rev. Doug Bott officiated.
