Obituary for David John Reuber
David John Reuber, of Walkerton, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at London Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen, and children; Michael (Kathy) of Walkerton, James of Walkerton, Patricia (Adam) Walter of Allan Park, and Lee-Anne of Thornbury. Dave was the proud grandpa of Alissa, Alaina, Genevieve, Derek, Dawson, Darius, Hali, Malachi, Ava and Elsie. He will be missed by his siblings; Paul (Brenda) of Puslinch, Beth (Michael) Strain of St.Clements, Mary (Harold) Widdes of Walkerton, Margaret (Lloyd) Oakey of Puslinch, Mark (Liz) of Cargill, Beverly (Steve) Marsdin of St. George, and John (Barb) of Mildmay. Dave will be remembered by his sister-in-law, Roberta (Ray) Wiebe of Winnipeg, and brothers-in-law; Jack (Christine) Condon and Bill (Bev) Condon both of Winnipeg, and Hugh (Rebecca) Condon of Sioux Narrows, ON.
He is predeceased by his parents, John and June Reuber, parents-in-law, Maurice and Mary Condon, and brother-in-law, Ken Leppky.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Walkerton Pentecostal Church (1736 Highway 9, Walkerton). A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Walkerton Pentecostal Church. Rev. Chris Cochrane officiating.
