Doris is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul Opperman of Pickering, Mary Lou and Wayne Batte of Formosa, Harriet and Mervin Reinhart of Mildmay, and son-in-law Bill Kuntz of Formosa. Doris will be missed her sister Marjorie Lecky of Barrie and sister-in-law Ena Kramer of Walkerton. She was a cherished grandmother and great grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

As well as her in-laws Anthony and Gertrude Opperman, Paul and Josephine Heisz, Clayton and Cora Schnurr, Elaine Kramer and Glenn Lecky.
Doris and Harry ran a successful electrical/refrigeration appliance store in the hamlet of Formosa for over 60 years. Doris was fun loving and enjoyed helping her in community of Formosa. She was very active in the CWL, Girl Guides and Lioness. She enjoyed time at the cottage with family and friends. Doris loved playing cards, dancing and having water fights. Her green thumb was always evident everywhere you looked in her home and her witty sense of humour was known by all. She will be sadly missed by all.
Our family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at Brucelea Haven. Doris always said that even though the Covid 19 pandemic has been tough, that the staff at Brucelea Haven were always good to her and the food was always great, especially the dessert. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
