Elaine Marie Finlay of Walkerton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Chapman House, Owen Sound, surrounded by her family, at age 72.

Elaine will be dearly missed by her husband Dan, son Scott (Sheri) of Ottawa, and her two grandchildren Fiona and Kyla. Elaine will be remembered by her brother Robert (Roberta Barrett) McKay of Brantford, and her nephews and nieces Morgan McKay, Iain (Veronica) McKay, Kenin (Peter Rose) McKay, and Eslin McKay.

Predeceased by her parents Grant and Doris (nee McDonald) McKay and her parents-in-law Dave and Jean (nee MacMillan) Finlay.

Missed but to be never forgotten by her “life sisters” Roberta Ann Haggart of Sunbridge , Kym Burt of Shallow Lake, “Skip” of Embro, Cheryl Prouse of Sebringville, Joni Stevens of Varney, Melanie Emke of Chesley and Alice Hadzis of Greece.

A memorial service for Elaine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
