Florence Margaret Schmidt (nee Schurter), passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Village Senior Community, Hanover. She was 95. Mother to Bob (Irene) of Waterloo, Betty (Dean) Thompson and Jim (Elaine) both of Walkerton. Florence was the grandma to Rob (Ali Drago), Lori (Mack) Meloche, David (Taylor Pratt), Tammy (Jason) Hinsperger, Chrissy (Frank) Stone, Bill (Katrina) Thompson, Crystal (Shawn) Timbers, great-grandma to Luke, Belle, Norah, Jeff, Claire, John, Blake and Nolan.

Florence was predeceased by her husband John, daughter Patricia (Norm St. Denis), siblings Ralph (Anne) Schurter, Gertrude (Bill) Graf, Isabel (Wilfred) Kuntz, Wilfred (Emily) Schurter, sister-in-law Agnes Schurter, brother-in-law Edward (Dorothy) Schmidt, and her parents Joseph and Mary Schurter.

Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. C.W.L. prayers at 2:00 p.m. and parish prayers at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at St. Joseph's Church, Cargill. Fr. Tom Moisan officiating.

Interment at Mary Immaculate Church, Cheptsow.
