Gerald (Jerry) Hugh Bracken, of Brant Township, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Beloved husband of Aukje Audrey for 55 years, and father to Michael (Tamu) of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, David (Susan) of Pelee Island, Nancy (Nathan) Bradley of Elora, and Robert (Meghan) of Stratford. Proud “Papa” to Kyler, Trevor, Blair, Rachel, Liam, Claire and Naomi. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Predeceased by his parents, Dr. Bonar and Viola Bracken; sisters, Maxine (Jack) Hackett and Yvonne (Dr. Murray) Dudgeon, brother-in-law Keith Scott and nephew Alan Scott.

Jerry was an Advanced Medical Laboratory Technologist for 31 years with the Walkerton, Chesley, and Durham hospitals. In addition to his time at the hospital, Jerry was a farmer and loved spending his time outside in his retirement.

There will be no visitation or service. A private family service will be held.
