Geraldine Anne Benninger of Formosa passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Wingham & District Hospital, in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of 63 years to John, and mother to Joyce (Bob Eckenswiller) of Hanover, David of Hanover, Sandra (Jeff Karl) of St. Clements, and Daniel of Mildmay. Geraldine was the proud grandma of Joel, Jennifer, Ryan, Sydney, and great grandma to Maveryk. She will be missed by her sisters Ruth Mary Ditner of Walkerton, and Marlene (Bill) Douma of Hanover.

Geraldine is predeceased by her siblings Iona (Bud) Scharlach, Melvin (Mary) Zettel, brother-in-law Don Ditner, and her parents Frank and Otilda (nee Lang) Zettel.

Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Church, Formosa. Fr. Paul Edmondstone officiating.
