Obituary

Harvey Erwin Lerch, of Hanover and formerly of RR 5 Mildmay, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the age of 82.

Beloved husband of Lynne (nee MacKay). He will be remembered by his brother Alfred (Norma) Lerch of West Grey and sister Doreen Lantz of Hanover as well as his sisters-in-law Eleanor Lerch of Neustadt, Bernice (Nelson) Granger of Hanover, Margaret (Jim) Atkinson of Durham, Kathleen (Garry) Scott of Port Elgin and brother-in-law Bill (Gayle) MacKay of Paisley.

Harvey was predeceased by his sisters Eileen ( Conrad) Wiseman, Gladys (Martin) Singbiel, Florence (Elmer) Leifso, Audrey (Harold) Hill; brothers Bert, Wilmer and Harold in infancy; brother-in-law George Lantz and parents Edward and Anna (nee Steinhagen) Lerch.

Memorial service to celebrate Harvey’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Knox Presbyterian Church, Walkerton with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Megan Penfold officiating.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce – South Hospice or St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be made through the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. www.cameronfuneralhomes.com

It is with deep sorrow that we heard of Harvey's passing last week. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the Funeral as we learned about his passing after the service. We send our sincere condolences. Love Alfred, Norma, Kim and Max
