Hilda Madeline Gordon (nee Prouse) of Walkerton, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the age of 94.
Loving mother of Wayne of Wingham, Larry (Penny) of Point Edward and Brian of Walkerton. Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Chris), Lindsay (Mike) and Ryan and great-grandmother of Jasper, Winston, Emerson, Rocco, Max and Emily. Dear sister of Russell Prouse of Brampton, Gladys Inglis of Georgetown and Isabel Nicholson of North Bay.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband Ross; daughter-in-law Grace Gordon; sister-in-law Lillian Prouse; brothers-in-law John Inglis and Bill Nicholson and siblings Verna (Allan) Prouse, Ella (Tom) Hammond, Doris (Elmour) Bell, Victor Prouse, Lorne Prouse, Milton Prouse, Edgar Prouse and five siblings in infancy.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at St. Paul’s United Church, Walkerton at
11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Cathy Paul officiating.
Interment in Walkerton Cemetery.
