Obituary for Joan Marguerite Anstett (Eby)
Joan Marguerite Anstett (nee Eby), age 82 of Walkerton, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Anstett, and Mom of Carolyn ( Mark) Meyer, Joanne (Robert) Campbell, and Jamie (Kathy) Anstett, all of Walkerton. Proud Grandma of Josh (Jen), Adam (Marie), Emily, Sara (Vanessa), Jeff, Justin (Jess), Paul (Sausha), Michael (Keelan), Stephen (Ashley), Jonathan (Jordy), Ashley, and "GG" of Lucas, Alex, Hannah, Lincoln, Alex, Logan, Kiarah, and J.J. She will be remembered by her siblings; Patricia (Doug) Mercey, and Tom Eby, both of Hanover, and Michael (Arlene) Eby of Calgary, and in-laws; Mary Reddon of Guelph, Edward (Mary) Anstett of Brantford, and Raymond Anstett of Seaforth, and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, Jim, parents, Wilbur and Josephine (nee Benninger) Eby, brothers Robert and Richard in infancy and many members of her extended Anstett family.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. Parish prayers at 2:00 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Fr. Les Szczygiel officiating.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
