Joan Bernice Ann Hodgins (nee Voisin), of Walkerton passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, at age 71.

Beloved wife of Wayne Hodgins. Loving mother of Jennifer Hodgins of Walkerton and Cindy (Grant) Jarvis of Brussels. Cherished grandmother of Kerrah Hodgins (George) and great grandmother of Patrick Armstrong. Dear sister of Shirley (Jim) Hehn of St. Clements, Ruby (Ken) Kee of Oshawa, Liz Mackeand of Walkerton, Harvey (Anne) Voisin of Walkerton, Lynda (Bryan) Hodgins of Sundre, AB, Audrey (Clare) Benninger of Teeswater, and Donna (Rick) Zettler of Teeswater. Sister-in-law of Velma (George) Young, Sheila Porter, Ernest (Wendy) Hodgins, Kathy George, Dennis (Molly) Hodgins, Sandra (Kevin) Reid, Ken (Andrea) Hodgins, and Debbie (Rob) Goulding. Joan will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Joan was predeceased by her grandson Dalton Hodgins, her brothers Roy Voisin and Harold Voisin, her sister-in-law Grace Cannell, her parents August & Helen (nee Strauss) Voisin, and Wayne’s parents Frank & Ella Hodgins.

Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of Joan’s life from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m.

Cremation has taken place with a private family interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Formosa.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
