Obituary for Johannes "John" Vandebor

Johannes “John” Vandebor, of Walkerton, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the age of 89.

John was born in Holland, February 2,1933. Their family immigrated to PEI when he was 16. He soon met and married Millie, his wife of 71 years. After spending time in Toronto and then Greenock, John and Millie eventually bought a farm in Paisley. Here the family of 10 settled for over 40 years. He started attending church meetings, it was then he put his faith in Christ. He always said he didn't know much about farming when he started, but God always kept him one step ahead with the challenges he faced. He held fast to his faith in God till the very end.
