John was born in Holland, February 2,1933. Their family immigrated to PEI when he was 16. He soon met and married Millie, his wife of 71 years. After spending time in Toronto and then Greenock, John and Millie eventually bought a farm in Paisley. Here the family of 10 settled for over 40 years. He started attending church meetings, it was then he put his faith in Christ.
