John Douglas “Doug” Flach formerly of Walkerton passed away surrounded by family on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Listowel Memorial Hospital in his 85th year. He will be remembered by Joan Flach of Hanover and their children Sandra Hall of Paris, Brent (Sharon) of Shallow Lake, Bradley (Cheryl Schemmer) of Elmvale, Shannon Busby of Collingwood, Kelly (Michael) Stephens of Georgetown, and special mention of Pat Pilkey and her children Jason and Joanne. Doug was the proud Grandpa of Derek (Kate White), Daniel (Kara Biermes), Lorissa (Cody Gow), Mitchell, Joelle, Alaina, Jayce, Mallory, Toria, and great grandpa of Emma. He will be missed by his sisters Yvonne Godfrey of Guelph and Nancy (Don) Prescott of Burlington, and remembered by members of the McIntee Family.
Doug is predeceased by his daughter Michelle, brother George, his parents Herbert and Mae (nee Lambertus) Flach, and Wayne Pilkey.

Friends and relatives are invited for casual visitation on from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cameron’s in Walkerton, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception, Formosa, with interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
