Obituary for Lloyd Neil
Lloyd Clifford Neil of Walkerton, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the age of 81.
Loving father of Kevin of Walkerton, Steven of Simcoe, Darla Burgher and Margo Neil (Jerry) of Nova Scotia. Cherished grandfather of Cory, Kathryn, Nick, Tyler and Sarah and great-grandfather of Abbigale and Dexter. Dear brother of Ruth Ann (Edgar) Pilgrim of Cargill and Terry (Jean) Neil of Walkerton.
Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Catherine (nee Beadle); daughter Patricia in infancy and parents Cliff and Isobel (nee Young) Neil.
There are few words to express the deep pain and sorrow of losing our father. Dad was a bright spark in this world, and will be missed by many, including his dog Ivy, who could often be seen riding around town on one of Dad’s scooter excursions.
We will miss Dad’s detailed accounts of events, and family history, but most of all we’ll miss his quick wit and laughter.
To those who visited and checked in on Dad, you’ll never know how much he cherished those times.
Interment in Walkerton Cemetery, Walkerton.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 102, Walkerton.
