Obituary

Obituary for Louis Albert Dentinger

Louis Albert Dentinger, of Walkerton, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Monday, August 31, 2020 with his family by his side in his 87th year.

Loving and special uncle to Terry (Mary) O'Hagan, Dennis (Linda) O'Hagan, Mary-Jane (Frank) Koebel, and Karen (Steve) Harper, all of Walkerton, and cherished great uncle to their children and great-great-uncle to their grandchildren. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Bill Milhausen of Calgary and his six nieces Joan Donaldson, Dorothy Louther both of Teeswater, Mary-Lou Stumpf of Kitchener, Cathy McKenzie of Wingham, Donna Beitz of Teeswater, and Cheryl Armstead of Calgary.

Louis was predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Anna (nee Brick), brothers Johnny (Marion) and Magnus in infancy, sisters Margaret (Midford) O'Hagan and Mildred Milhausen.

Louis could often be found skating down at the Walkerton Arena daily at noon, or at the ball diamond watching the games. He was known for his innocent pranks on family and friends and for always being a joker. Louis' favorite expression was "Why cry when you can laugh".

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton with interment at Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton. Fr. Leszek Szczygiel officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Residential Hospice of Grey-Bruce (Brockton - South Build) would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at Cameron's of Walkerton (519-881-1273) Donations and condolences may also be made online at www.cameronfuneralhomes.com

So sorry for your loss. Louis was such an active man. As a neighbor iI remember seeing him climbing the roof with a snow rake-you can keep a good man down! Always such a great neighbor. Will miss he and his sister Margaret both on the hill here.!
