Obituary for Marie Zettler
Marie Zettler (nee Hamilton) of Hanover passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at The Village, Hanover, in her 98th year.
Beloved wife of the late Jerome Zettler, much-loved mother of Elaine, Ray (Heather), Allan (Marilyn), and Rick (Joan). Cherished Nana of Nicole (Shawn), Craig (Rhonda), Curt (Brandy), Lisa (Bill), Laura (Dean), Cole (Melissa), Brittney (Andrew), Brandy (Nick) and proud Great Nana of Aidan, Kalan, Raelyn, Taylor, Ethan, Mac, Oaklynn, Isabella, Austin, Jackson, Jordan, Jude, Miles, Jace, Haddie, and Cade. Marie will be missed by her dear sister, Terry Verner.
Marie was predeceased by her brother John Hamilton, sister Peggy White, and her parents Joe and Gertrude Hamilton.
Marie’s family celebrates all that she accomplished in her amazing 97 years and will be dearly missed by all her extended family and many friends. She truly cared about what was happening in all their lives. Marie was a wonderful teacher and had a lifelong love of learning. She was filled with courage, faith, and love through all her days.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton, with interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
