Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Lee (Stratton)
Mary Elizabeth Lee (nee Stratton) passed away at the SBGHC in Walkerton on September 7, 2021 surrounded by family.
Born March 16, 1944 to parents Isabelle and Stuart Stratton and raised by Hanna and Philip Anderson in Toronto, On.
After a long career as an executive secretary at Wainbee Limited, Mary and her late husband, George Lee, settled in Walkerton. Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish Church and choir and loved to sing.
Mary is survived by her devoted companion Clyde Caskenette, sons David (Alice), Brian (Debbie) and daughter Leanne (Simon). Mary cherished her grandchildren Jordan (Jayme), Justin, Brennan (Alisa), Tristan and Kieran. She was also a very special Grandmary to Jessie and GG to great granddaughters Alyvia and Tessa and enjoyed seeing pictures of her great grandson Nolan growing so fast.
Predeceased by her parents, brother William, and sister-in-law Margaret.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Ground Effects' Special Event Centre (341411 Concession 2 NDR, Hanover, ON N4N 3B8) Proof of Vaccination is required. Mask are required indoors when not eating or drinking. We thank you for your cooperation and hope you can join us.
Please dress casual and weather appropriate as the Special Events Centre features both indoor and outdoor space.
