It is with a profound sense of loss that the family of Mervyn James Sewers announce his passing at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Saturday April 22, 2023.  He was 73.

Dearly loved brother of Harvey (Gloria) of RR 2 Durham, and Sharon of Walkerton. He will live on in the hearts of Gloria’s family, his Aunt Jean of Stratford, numerous cousins, longtime friends Doris Weber and Craig Harrison. and his friends at Community Living in Walkerton.

Predeceased by his parents Jim (1989) & Verna (Walker) (2016), his brother Bill (2016), the love of his life, Aggie Sitler (2004)

Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A funeral service celebrating Mervyn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at St. Paul’s United Church, Walkerton. Rev. Cathy Paul Officiating. 

Mervyn will be interred with his parents in Walkerton Cemetery.
