Murdock John McLeod of Walkerton passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, at age 86. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Carter) of 61 years. Loving father of The Reverend Kevin (Sylvia) McLeod of Hamilton and Janice (Dwight) Hallahan of Belgrave. Cherished grandfather of Dana (David) Cuff, Grant (April Adnitt) McLeod, Corey McLeod, Dawson Hallahan, and great grandpa of Noah McLeod. Dear brother-in-law of George (Anita) Carter, Marlene (Gerald) Bailey, Peter (Jo-Ann) Carter, and Aileen (Bryan) Brebner, and he will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Murdock was predeceased by his grandson Logan Murdock Hallahan (2010), his sisters Anna (Ira) Kreuger, Edna (Alvin) Litt, Doris (Harvey) Reddon, Eleanor (Bill) Hodge, and Lloyd Roeszler, his parents Norman and Edith (Schnarr) McLeod, and parents in law Peter and Aileen Carter.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the Walkerton Cemetery. The Reverend Pam McNeil officiating. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Walkerton Legion to share memories and celebrate Doc’s life. More details to follow.
