Obituary for Nellie Jean McArthur
Nellie Jean McArthur of Port Elgin passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, in her 106th year.
Beloved mother of Murray (Linda) McArthur of Port Elgin, Maddy (Gerry) Rapp of Walkerton, Helen (Mel) Miller of Meaford, Evelyn Rathwell of Port Elgin, Marg Yates of Walkerton, and Barb (Paul) Von Hatten of Port Elgin. Nellie will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Gordon, grandson Don, son-in-law Bill, daughter-in-law Trena McArthur, 7 brothers, 7 sisters, and her parents George & Franey (nee Eby) Scott.
A private family service will be held at Cameron’s in Walkerton with interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
