Our condolences to Kathleen and the whole family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Ray was a real friend we met over 40 years with Kathleen in their camper in Newfoundland and we
saw him last time in 2000 in their home in Walkerton.
Three weeks before his last day on this earth we could phone with Ray - we cannot beleave it, so fast.
Rest in peace dear Ray !

Alice Rixson

On behalf of my brother John Schonstrom and sister Birgit Clark, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Ray’s family. I first met Ray in 1951 when our family emigrated from Denmark, and with my mother’s lack of confidence with English at that time, the task of shopping at the Walkerton Meat Market fell on my shoulders. Ray was always helpful with friendliness and sincerity that never waivered. As children there was always a wiener in the cooler waiting for us, a tradition that extended to my children. Ray was an exemplary man who will long be remembered.

Ray was absolutely wonderful to work with as a Livestock Valuer when I worked with the Municipality of Brockton. A kind and gentle man who obviously cared deeply about honesty and integrity. My condolences to everyone who will miss him.
