Obituary for Ruth
Ruthann Elizabeth Hetsler (nee Altman), of Walkerton, passed away at the Walkerton Hospital on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the age of 83.
Loving mother of William (Janet) of Hanover, Russell (Helen) of Shallow Lake, Arthur (Joanne) of Hanover, Ruthann (Dennis) Callan of Hanover, Jim (Ann) of Neustadt, Milton “Sam” (Rhonda) of Hanover and Peter (Joy) of Walkerton. Remembered by her 27 cherished grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Frank (Vicky) Altman of Walkerton, Tillie (Harold) McNeil of Walkerton, Florence Robinson of Wingham, Helen Apper of London and Evelyn (Ron) Gross of Kitchener.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband William; great-granddaughter Kyle; sisters Barbara Altman, Mary (Raymond) Ellig, Isable Anderson; brother-in-law Mervin Apper and parents Peter and Florence (nee Kupferschmidt) Altman.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. Yolanda Cameron officiating.
Spring interment in Walkerton Cemetery.
