William ‘Bill’ George Speers of Mildmay passed away surrounded by family at home on Monday, September 19, 2022, in his 70th year.

Beloved husband of Diane and father to Bill Jr. (Lisa) of Formosa, Steve (Shelly) of Chesley, and Chris (Christina) of Mildmay. Bill was the proud grandpa of Rachel, Sebastian, Sawyer, Cooper, and Ellie. He will be missed by his siblings: Doug (Donna) of Clifford, Marlene (Norbert) Fortney of Mildmay, Joyce (Paul Sanderson) Thomas of Fordwich, Ron (Cheryl) of Kitchener, Cheryl (Tim) Brown of Clifford, and remembered by his in-laws: Don (Lucille) Dietz of Kitchener, Jean (Skip) Rogers of Walkerton, Brenda (Brian) Bross of Mildmay, Sharon (Dave) Randall of Heidelburg, and Glen (Patty) Dietz of Mildmay.

Bill is predeceased by his brother Don Speers, parents Bill and Bernice (nee Fitzell) Speers, and parents-in-law Nelson and Helen Dietz.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton.
