Carole Kerr, passed away suddenly at her home in Walkerton on Monday, November 18, 2019 in her 78th year.
Carole is survived by her daughter Susan (Gerald) Hurrle of Tottenham, and son John (Michele) Kerr of Mississauga. She was the proud Grandma of Nicole (Tom) Kerr of Milton, Steven Kerr and Michael Kerr of Mississauga, Jessica (Jim) Hurrle of Keswick and Christine Hurrle of Tottenham.
Carole is predeceased by her husband Peter Kerr of Toronto, her parents, Samuel and Florence Crawford of Toronto, and her sisters Edna Berry, Joanne Lovett, and Patricia Russell of Toronto.
Carole was born on December 29, 1940 in Toronto, where she grew up, worked, and later met her husband Peter in a coffee shop on the lower level of the Simpson-Sears department store downtown and immediately fell in love. They were married on September 8, 1961 and honeymooned in Algonquin park. Peter and Carole retired and moved to Walkerton, where together they enjoyed small town living while spending time shopping and enjoying all kinds of crafts, painting, crocheting and was always busy doing one project or another. Carole loved the Christmas season and would collect snowmen to display. She cherished spending time with her best friend Elfie, and was lucky enough to be surrounded by other great friends who were always there for her, and whose company she enjoyed.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services as per Carole's wishes.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Lung Association, would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home (519-881-1273) Donations and condolences may also be made online at
